Project MACの発足

MITは1963年、Robert Fanoの指揮下でProject MACを発足させ、タイムシェアリング、計算理論、機械支援認知を研究しました。1959年創設のMIT人工知能プロジェクトは後に参加しましたが、両者は1959年創設の同一研究所ではありません。
